Sewing Project Update –
Light for Africa Ministries is grateful for donations of 60 Industrial Sewing Machines made by Businesses, Pastors, Churches and individuals from the United States supporting us.
The Sewing Project exists for the purpose of empowering communities which have been stricken by poverty and high unemployment, as much as 70% in the rural areas. We are combating poverty through eradicating unemployment.
For each and every uniform made and sold, it provides a uniform for an orphan… Proceeds will go to help orphans and vulnerable children.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, there was a global economic meltdown. South Africa was not exempt and it negatively impacted our sewing project.
NEEDS: To resume we need to:
- Purchase fabric for one year
- Pay machinists salaries for a year
Any amount donated towards this need will be highly appreciated. To donate, please donate here.
Notes: Most school uniforms are bought when the school year begins. We manufacture school uniforms for the whole year for inventory. Our target is to make 100,000 school uniorms a year.
Farming Project
The Zulu King, His Majesty Misuzulu Zulu has given 2,000 acres to Light for Africa Ministries. This creates employment for his subjects. The project will grow cabbage, spinach, carrot, onions and potatoes. We have a market to sell our products.
Should you be interested in supporting this project as a business and wish to invest in it, please contact us and we will forward you a business plan.
